Wireless AMR Solution

General Introduction:
Adopting the 470MHz-510MHz radio as communication channel, the dynamic optimization to network through SETNET Wireless Ad Hoc Network System makes sure the stable and reliable communication. It is a cost-effective AMR (automatic meter reading) solution that is simple and convenient installation & calibration without stringing. It’s applicable to the AMR for residents, shops and industry, meeting the requirements of meter reading, switching and prepayment.

Equipments:
1.  RS485 single phase meter;
2.  Wireless Collector (downlink communication is RS485, uplink communication is wireless);
3.  Data concentrator(downlink communication is wireless, uplink communication is GPRS/CDMA);
4.  Distribution Transformer Area Meter
5.  AMR Software.

1 collector can connect 32 pcs of single phase meter at the most, and 1 concentrator can connect  about 50 pcs of collector (the exact connection qty is up to the on-site installation environment)

Operation procedure:
Wireless collector collects the single phase meter’s data through RS485 communication, and the data concentrator collects these datas through wireless communication, at last the data concentrator transmit these datas to AMR Software through GPRS/CDMA communication.
